A few days ago, Jack was cracking up in the back seat of the van. Sarah asked what was up. "What if it really rained cats and dogs?" he asked. Then he made the stepped-on-cat "mreOWW" sound and laughed hysterically. I love that boy.

Giant Squid Hunters
Last night, we watched the new Discovery Channel documentary on the first filming of a live giant squid with the boys. They all loved it, but Maverick was particularly enthralled. "I can't believe they discovered it!" ""I can't believe it's real!" "I can't believe they found it!" Jack was excited, too: "It has three hearts!" There are many things I love about the boys, but their sense of adventure and curiosity are very high on the list.
